Thirty-seven years, same family, same handshake

Jack's Rubbish Removals started on the Northern Beaches in 1989
and has been run by the same family ever since.
Here is who you are calling.

Jake and Jack with the Jack's Rubbish crew and truck

Built on doing the job properly

We started with one truck and a simple idea: turn up when you say you will, charge a fair price, and leave the place tidy. Thirty-seven years later that has not changed, even though the trucks have.

Most of our work still comes from people we have helped before, or a neighbour they told. That word-of-mouth is the whole business, so we protect it on every job. It started on the Northern Beaches and North Shore, and it now takes us right across Sydney, from a single mattress to a full house.

We are fully insured, we recycle and donate as much as we can, and we handle the sensitive jobs like deceased estates with the care they deserve.

The business has grown from that one truck to a small fleet, but it has stayed deliberately family sized. When you call, you get one of the family. When the truck pulls up, it is our crew in our trucks, not a subcontractor we found this morning.

Four things we do not budge on

  • The price we say is the price you pay

You get a firm quote before anything is lifted. No hourly meter running, no extra tacked on at the end because the load was heavier than it looked.

  • We turn up when we say we will

If we book you in for a morning, we are there in the morning. If something goes wrong on the job before yours, you get a phone call, not silence.

  • Some jobs need a gentler touch

Deceased estates and heavily packed homes are not just another load. The crew works quietly, at your pace, and sets aside anything you ask us to keep.

  • We leave the place tidy

Sweeping up after ourselves is part of the job, not a favour. You should not be able to tell where the pile used to be.

The people behind the truck

Jake of Jack's Rubbish Removals

Jake

Runs the day-to-day and most of the quotes. If you call the office, there is a good chance you are talking to Jake. He is usually the one working out how many trucks a job needs and what it will cost you.

Lachlan of Jack's Rubbish Removals

Lachlan

Works across quotes and jobs day-to-day alongside Jake. Chances are he is the one who sized up your load and booked you in, and he is often on the truck for it as well.

Jack of Jack's Rubbish Removals

Jack

Leads the crew on the tools and looks after the careful jobs, including deceased estate clearances. Thirty-seven years in, there is not much he has not already seen.

Where your rubbish actually ends up

Very little of what we pick up needs to go straight to landfill, so we sort the load rather than tipping the lot in one hole. Furniture and goods still worth using go to charity where we can find them a home. Metal, timber, cardboard, green waste and e-waste are separated out and sent for recycling.

What is left over goes to a licensed waste facility. It is a bit more work at our end, and it is the reason a lot of clear-outs cost less than people expect, because a load that is sorted properly is cheaper to dispose of than one that is not.

If there is anything in the load you would rather see donated than dumped, say so on the day and we will put it aside.

Questions people ask before booking

Yes, fully insured. If you are in a strata block or a building manager needs to see paperwork before we start, ask and we will send it through.

Our own crew in our own trucks. We do not hand jobs to subcontractors, which is why the standard is the same every time you book us.

Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm. Call before midday and there is a good chance we can clear it the same day.

Usually. A skip charges you for the whole bin whether you fill it or not, and you do all the loading yourself. With us you only pay for the space your rubbish takes and our crew does the lifting.

Since 1989, which is thirty-seven years of the same family running the same business. We have 117 five-star Google reviews and a 2025 Quality Business Award to go with it.

Not always. If we can get to the load and you are happy with the quote, we can clear it while you are out and settle up afterwards.
