Rubbish Removal Northern Beaches

From Manly to Palm Beach, Jack's has cleared rubbish here since 1989.
Household, garden, building waste or a full clear-out.
We load it and it's gone.

Rubbish removal across the peninsula

Jack's Rubbish Removals is a family-run local crew serving the whole Northern Beaches. We know the peninsula, the beach-side unit blocks, the steep driveways off Barrenjoey Road and the tight lanes around Manly. That local knowledge means we quote it right and clear it fast.

Because we are based here, same-day pickups are usually on the table. Call before midday and there is a good chance your rubbish is gone by the afternoon.

From Manly up to Palm Beach, we run this stretch six days a week. The crew knows which streets a big truck can turn in, which unit blocks need the load carried out the front, and how to get a tip run done before the afternoon traffic builds on Pittwater Road.

Trusted Northern Beaches rubbish removal for thirty-seven years

Looking for reliable rubbish removal on the Northern Beaches? Jack's has been the local go-to since 1989. Plenty of removal companies have come and gone in that time. You do not last thirty-seven years in this trade unless you turn up when you say, quote straight and dispose of the load properly, and that is the whole business in a sentence.

Responsible disposal, always

Be careful who you hand your rubbish to. The cheapest quote is sometimes cheap because the load ends up dumped on a fire trail or a quiet verge to dodge tip fees, and if that waste is traced back to you, the fine lands on you. Every load we take goes to an official facility, usually Kimbriki on the Beaches, and we keep the receipts. Household junk, garden waste, garage and shed clean-outs, office clear-outs, deceased estates and hoarding jobs: it all goes where it should.

Recycling your rubbish

We sort every load into the right recycling streams before it hits the tip. Metal, timber, cardboard, green waste, e-waste and usable furniture come out; only genuine landfill goes to landfill. It is better for the peninsula and it keeps your price down, because mixed loads are charged at the highest rate.

What we clear most on the Beaches

  • Garage and under-house clear-outs in the older beach houses, often decades of gear at once.
  • Green waste from coastal gardens, including the clean-up after a big blow comes through.
  • End-of-lease and unit clear-outs around Manly, Freshwater and Dee Why.
  • Deceased estates and downsizing in the long-held family homes around Pittwater and Avalon.
  • Renovation and builders waste, because there is always a job going somewhere on the peninsula.

If your job is not on that list, it is almost certainly still one we do. Give us a call and we will tell you straight away.

Cheaper than a skip, and none of the work

We come to you in our own trucks and utes, load the lot and dispose of it the same day. Here is why that beats a skip on the Beaches.

  • Skips are dearer than they look

You pay hire by the day, and one day easily becomes three once life gets in the way.

  • You do the lifting with a skip

With us the crew loads everything into the truck. You point, we carry.

  • Same day, gone

We load and dispose the same day. Nothing sits on the nature strip for the week.

  • Nobody fills your bin for you

Strangers top up a skip overnight and you pay for their junk. A truck leaves with only yours.

  • Discreet

No skip in public view for the neighbours to wonder about. We come, we load, we leave.

  • Sorted, not landfilled

A skip of mixed rubbish all goes to landfill at the top rate. We sort and recycle, so the tip fee stays low.

  • Valuables found

We look through what we load. Rings, documents and photos turn up more often than you would think.

  • One fixed price

Written quote up front from the people who do the job. No hidden extras.

Free, accurate written quotes

Every quote is prepared by the people who will actually do the work. We look at the access, the volume and the type of material, and price the time, the truck loads and the tip fees properly. For bigger or awkward jobs we would rather come out and quote in person than guess over the phone; it is more accurate, and it protects you if anything is ever disputed. Send photos to start, and insist on a written quote from anyone you talk to.

Northern Beaches Council clean-up collections

Council clean-ups are useful and free, and we tell people to use them. They are also limited to about three cubic metres, you carry everything to the kerb yourself, and there is a long list of things they will not take. We take the lot, and we do the carrying.

The council will not take

  • Items over 1.8 m long, or too heavy for two people to move safely
  • Building materials: rubble, brick, insulation, kitchen cabinets and vanities
  • E-waste such as TVs and computers
  • Car parts, tyres and oils
  • Sheet glass, mirrors, windows and glass tables
  • Hazardous waste: gas bottles, chemicals, paint, batteries, asbestos
  • Liquid or business waste, vegetation and ordinary household garbage
  • Anything smaller than a toaster

The council will take

  • Furniture, mattresses and bed bases
  • Non-recyclable household items
  • Whitegoods with the doors removed
  • Rolled and tied carpet up to 1.8 m (three rolls)
  • Empty hot water systems and up to twelve fence palings
  • Metal, and up to three small sheets of roofing
  • Small items boxed or crated (crates are not returned)

Jack's takes everything on both lists, in one go, from wherever it is on the property. If your driveway is long or steep, or the pile is bigger than three cubes, give us a call. Full guide: Northern Beaches Council clean-up, explained.

Northern Beaches questions

All of them, from Manly and Balgowlah up to Avalon and Palm Beach, and everywhere between. If you are on the Northern Beaches, we cover you.

Often yes. We are a local crew, so call before midday and there is a good chance we clear it the same day.

Yes. We work in unit blocks and strata properties across the Northern Beaches every week and know how to keep it tidy and low-fuss.

We price by how much space your load takes in the truck rather than by the hour, so a few items cost far less than a full load. You get a firm price before we start, and it usually comes in cheaper than hiring a skip.

Yes. Branches, hedge cuttings, palm fronds and the full clean-up after a big blow. We can bring a chainsaw and do the lopping as well if the job needs it.

Because it is heavy, slow work and the tip is not close. The council clean-up caps you at about three cubic metres, excludes a long list of items and needs everything carried to the kerb. We turn up, load everything from wherever it sits, sort it for recycling and dispose of it properly the same day. The only things we cannot take are hazardous materials that need a specialist, like asbestos.

Yes. Most Northern Beaches loads go to Kimbriki at Ingleside, sorted into the right streams. Everything is disposed of at an official facility and we keep the dockets. Nothing is dumped.
